Applications

Konjac rice is used as a rice-alternative or rice-blend ingredient by retail brands, foodservice operators and food manufacturers. Typical formats include wet-pack pouches ready for retail shelf, oat-konjac blends positioned as a fibre-added rice alternative, dry/dehydrated formats for ambient distribution, and foodservice bulk packs for catering and institutional kitchens.

Buyers commonly position konjac rice using neutral market labels such as low calorie, gluten-free, vegan or keto-suitable, as part of their own packaging and marketing.

How we source it

Konjac Bio Limited is a sourcing and trading company based in Shanghai. We do not operate our own factory. We work with vetted producing factories in China's konjac-growing regions, including Yunnan, Hubei, Sichuan, Guizhou and Shaanxi, to source konjac rice against the buyer's confirmed specification.

Each order follows the same process: inquiry, spec confirmation, sample, proforma invoice, production or consolidation at the producing factory, pre-shipment documents, then export. See konjac wholesale for the full ordering flow across our product range.

Packaging, MOQ and lead time

Stock wet-pack and dry grades, and private label runs with the buyer's own artwork and flavour or blend specification, are produced against a minimum run set by the producing factory per SKU. Lead time is confirmed on the proforma invoice once artwork and specification are approved, and depends on grade and packing format.

Carton and pallet configuration are set on the specification sheet before production, based on pouch size and packing format.
